This box is blue & white and has none of the artwork found on the common release.  The back of the box states, "Marketed by MCA Music Entertainment B.V. / Distributed by BMG Nederland B.V." below a Geffen logo.

"Includes 11 non album tracks" is printed on the box several times.  All of the commercially released European singles from Nevermind and In Utero are included:

Variation
Ryan writes:

  • "I was just reading about this box and noticed that the one that I have is the same except that the Geffen, Netherlands... at the bottom is not on mine.  Mine has no Geffen credits or anything on it except for NIR 9505."

Disputed status?
The box was imported to the U.S. and sold in some chain stores for a short time.  (It's important to note that none of these stores deal with bootlegs.)  But reports in Australia noted that the box was independently available prior to Geffen releasing their version.  In other words, it was unauthorized or an aftermarket box.  However, the box does have a BMG catalog number, Geffen logo, and BMG did distribute several items overseas.  (That stuff is easy to fake, though.)  Pending further information, the box's status is unresolved.
