n o t e s
This show was originally recorded by MTV for their 1993 New Year's Eve special, MTV Live and Loud, which featured Nirvana, The Breeders, and Cypress Hill.  The hosts were Anthony Kiedis and Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers.  Less than half of Nirvana's full performance from two and a half weeks earlier was aired.

After that initial broadcast, MTV made subtle edits and retitled the show as MTV Presents Nirvana In Concert.  The most noticeable difference is the ten-second edit that cuts out the scene with Cobain knocking an angel's (stage prop) head off with his guitar during the show-ending demolition sequence.  And less commercials were shown on subsequent broadcasts, so the transitions between songs appears slightly different.

Scott Litt mixed the audio.
