All nine songs form one large track on the CD.  Black & white photos are on most pages.  A one-page forward by Bruce Pavitt (Sub Pop) and a ten-page essay about the "Seattle Scene" by Michael Azerrad are also included.  Peterson's three-page preface contains a brief bio, info about the book and its photos, and a paragraph about him running into Kurt Cobain two weeks before Cobain's death.

The French version, Seattle Grunge, also comes with a CD but it does not have "Negative Creep."

  by Justin:
  • (About the CD) "It's one, 26-minute track featuring 9 songs, including 'Negative Creep' from Bleach.  The CD comes in a little pocket sleeve glued to the inside back cover of the hardcover book, along with a small sheet of b&w paper with a note from Charles explaining the selections, and some basic info on the songs.  Charles also writes a brief caption for each song, much like the Hype! soundtrack and Bruce Pavitt.  For 'Negative Creep,' he puts 'For me, two words: High School.  At the time it was released, this was my straight laced roommate's favourite song off Bleach.  Nirvana works in mysterious ways.'
