Nirvana Bootography Review:
"Wired" contains an a pair of above-average Bleach era recordings. Both performances are incomplete. "Wired" is the only commercially available disc with the 12/3/89 show. The 10/29/89 show is also available on "Over The Rainbow," however, it is cloned from "Wired".

The 10/29/89 show is the more complete of the two dates on the disc. The highlight is a fantastic "Token Eastern Song." During "Mr. Moustache" Kurt's guitar goes out, prompting Krist to finish the song by screaming the lyrics while he and Chad jam. The band is in good form and spirits. Kurt actually laughs (a rarity) just before they close the set with "Blew."

The 12/3/89 show is missing the first five songs, which includes the "I Wanna Be Your Dog" jam. The highlight of the performance is a bleach era "Sappy". You can view photos of the 12/3/89 show at the Interactive Concert Chronology, here.

"Wired" is an excellent disc for collectors who like the early Bleach era material. It's unfortunate that both shows are incomplete - discs like "Mr. Kurdt Kobain", "Out Of The Blue", and "It's All Going Wrong" are probably preferred to this one. Overall, "Wired" is a solid, above average disc.
