In October 1992 two British writers, Victoria Clarke and Britt Collins, were writing a book about Kurt. Apparently they accused Courtney for drug abuse during pregnancy. To prevent the story from getting public Kurt, Courtney, Dave and even Kurt's aunt left a series of threatening messages on Victoria Clarke's phone answering machine.
The tape with the messages is about 30 min long and contain 9 calls by Kurt, 1 by Dave, a few by Courtney and 1 by Kurt's aunt.
