Outcesticide VI - A Mess Of Blues

Live Nirvana Bootography Rating: C  70%

Live Nirvana Bootography Review:
A fairly interesting compilation i suppose, including quite a few tracks that haven't appeared on commercial Bootlegs before:
Tracks 1-2 Are From Nirvana's Blistering Performance on Saturday Night Live on Jan 11th 1992.
Track 3 is from "The Beavis And Butthead" Compilation, its the inclusion of lazy stuff like this that stops this disc getting a better grade.
Tracks 4-6 & 21 are John Peel Sessions, again its the inclusion of lazy stuff like this that stops this disc getting a better grade.
Track 7 is from the Legendary Buenos Aires Show of 10/30/92, "Beeswax" would have been a better Choice. Get the whole show on "Kurko" or its flawless clone "Bang Tango".
Track 8 is from the 10/12/91 Chicago Metro show, its a soundboard recording but badly mixed.
Track 11 is from 8/25/91.
Track 12 is from the 11/25/91 Radio Sessions, all copies of this are sourced from the Real Audio file places on line by VPRO in 2002.
Track 13 is a nice inclusion, its "I Wanna Be Your Dog" From Nirvana's 12/03/89 show at the Astoria, London.
Track 14 is an officialy released B-side, so no points gained there.
Track 15-16 are from the Rio Session in January 1993. if the date of 2003 on this cd is correct then this was the first bootleg to feature these tracks.
Track 17 is a short clip of Old Age from the March 91 rehearsal session, this hasn't appeared on a commercial bootleg before, this clip is all that's circulating of the song, it was anonymously posted on the internet.
Track 18 is another official Release, its from Mark Lanegans excellent solo album "The Winding Sheet", Kurt Supplies backing Vox & Guitar.
Track 19 is Big Cheese from Vienna, Austria 11/22/89, its mislabelled as "Australian radio '89" so no points gained there, Nirvana Didn't visit Australia un til January 1992.
Track 20 is from the January 1st 1991 Music Source Studio session, a much better copy of this session has surfaced since this bootleg was pressed.

This CD came in a digipack, the same company has also put out digipack re-releases of the 5 Genuine Outcesticides.
