LIVE NIRVANA TV GUIDE: AUTHOR'S NOTES

This is a guide based around Nirvana's TV appearances and includes not only their appearances on live TV shows but also interviews, news reports and short live clips that have been shown on TV shows around the world. This is as far as I am aware the first attempt to document this area that had previously been reliant on individual traders to list their content. I have attempted through my research and my own by no means definitive collection to document this as well as possible.

I have during the course of compiling this guide had to use my own judgement on what to include and leave out, this was particularly necessary when considering Kurt's death which was probably shown by every news channel in the western world several times. Therefore I left out those clips where little information is available and news reports that do not feature interviews or live footage. The items in the guide are listed by broadcast date NOT by the date of the live footage or interview. Where this unknown I have attempted to place the item in what I consider to be the most appropriate place taking into account the featured content, this shouldn't be too difficult to figure out.
