Notes for SBD #1a: This DAT source, which first surfaced in October 2004, is the best sounding and most complete version of this radio session. There are a plethora of other sources for this radio session out there, but this new DAT version beats them ALL hands down, including Westwood One radio CD versions. NOTE: all four songs can also be found on the official release 'Hormoaning' but this DAT version is actually slightly more complete with 'Son Of A Gun' featuring a slightly lengthier feedback intro than on the official release. See the Live Nirvana's Sessions History for more details of the recording of this radio session.
Notes for SBD #1b: 'D7' test mix only. This mix, rumoured to be a test/engineer mix, somehow leaked out. It is available on a plethora of bootlegs but the best sounding version without noise reduction is 'In Memory of "Kurdt Kobain"'. See Live Nirvana's Bootography Guide To Nirvana Bootlegs for more information on commercial releases of this session.
Notes for AMT CLIP #1a: Footage taken from within the studio includes views of the recording console and Kurt Cobain jamming on the drums. Appear on the October 1990 Tour Footage DVD. See Live Nirvana's DVD Guide for more information.
Notes for AMT CLIP #1b: Kurt Cobain jamming on the drums. Less complete than AMT CLIP #1a, but of superior quality overall. See Live Nirvana's DVD Guide for moe information.
