Notes

NIRVANA were invited on the show as Nevermind climbed to the top of the album charts. The band controversially embraced each other at the end of the show. The end credits revealed that the band seemed rather uncomfortable and awkward in the spotlight at this point, in contrast to their more relaxed attitude in September 1993 when they returned on the show to promote In Utero.
