Notes

NIRVANA tape an impromptu live session at MTV Studios in New York. What had been penciled in as an hour-long show ended after 35 minutes, with Cobain absconding to the nearby Museum Of Modern Art. (1) That one experience of working with Kurt showed me how sensitive he was as a person, MTV producer, Alex Coletti, later told Guitar World magazine. (2)
