  • This source is also known as "WTLO Reference Disc 14, track 5." It is notable for having the tail-end of the previously recorded Verse Chorus Verse faintly audible at the start.

Sliver was originally written with Dan Peters at The Dutchman, 101 S. Spokane Street, Seattle, WA. I got to write that song with them, Peters told Mojo's Keith Cameron in 2003. A great song will play itself, you know exactly what to do. It was written in a day and it came together in an hour. Good to go. (1) One therefore presumes that this solo acoustic rendition of Sliver was recorded sometime between The Dutchman practice and the Reciprocal Recording session, Summer 1990.
