The record is pressed on black vinyl and comes in a picture sleeve constructed with thick card stock -- thicker than the original sleeve.  Other than the sleeve's thickness you will have to check the vinyl's run-out grooves for the stamped code to tell if the item is official or not.  You must do so because this item, along with the related singles (below), have been described as decent reproductions that could fool some people.  The original run-out code is not found on this item.  The only code you'll see is the catalog number machine-stamped into the vinyl.  Some records may also have an "X" after the catalog number.

This item doesn't seem to be widespread like some other unofficial releases.  Most reports come from collectors in Sydney, Australia that have either bought it from a certain shop or seen it there.  That shop has reportedly sold the record as a "limited re-issue."  There was also a South American (Uruguay?) eBay seller that once sold a few copies of this item and the related singles linked to below.  Although we're not 100% positive he/she was selling this specific item, the fact that they had what appeared to be a few sets of the singles -- all starting at around $10 each -- made it extremely likely that's what the items actually were.  There simply aren't other known counterfeits for some of the singles.

The same people responsible for this item have also produced counterfeits of these singles:

Most copies simply have the catalog number "SP23" stamped into the vinyl, but some copies may also have an "X" stamped after that code.
